All students on the course will be able to use the equipment supplied by the piercing studio where the course is taught.

What happens at the end of the course?
​
Upon completion, students receive a certificate of completion once they have passed the theory and practical examinations, and those students who do not pass will be able to retake the test again free of charge.

About Me
Hi, I'm Letty, owner of The Piercing Academy.
I've always had a love for body piercings and tattoos.
After training as a body piercer many years ago I started my amazing journey in the piercing world.
Working with many reputable tattoo studios I managed to hone my skills and gain a great reputation for my work. Eventually, I found myself taking on apprentices and training them to be successful piercers.
I was approached by a piercing school in London where I started teaching the piercers of the future.
I discovered a huge love for teaching the students and watching them grow out there in the industry. I have built strong lasting connections with many of my students to this day.
Through teaching and reviewing various curriculums over the past years I came to realise that a lot of the courses had areas where they could be more in-depth which would give the students a better understanding of the fundamentals, setting them up for a more successful future. I also found that there was an opportunity to tailor my teaching in a more personal way to create a better learning environment for everyone on the courses. In addition to this many courses finish after the exam and send their students into the world with little to no experience and offer little support.
Knowing that the industry is quite competitive in nature and that having actual shop experience is a huge advantage I felt that this was something I wanted to offer that other courses do not. This naturally lead me to opening my own Body Piercing Academy.
Here at the Piercing Academy, we not only teach you all above the waist body piercing techniques, dermal implants, cover industry standards in hygiene practices, sterilizing and talk about licencing; We believe in building a stable support network for all of our students where they can feel confident to start their journey as a body piercer with a solid portfolio.
We are also able to provide a place where students can work and build up their portfolio and gain real life shop experience should they wish to do so.
